2004 Summer Programs

 

I thought that you would like to know what’s happening this summer, so here is a list of all the programs for people in grades 7 – 12 at the library this summer!

Programs Earlier in June

June 5 Teen Book Discussion 1 – 2 PM Ender’s Game By: Orson Scott Card
Ask the librarian about possible summer dates for book discussion meetings.
June 8 Anime Group 4 – 5 PM

Summer Reading Program Opening Week

June 28 Begin registering for Summer Reading all day. We will be competing against Brockport, Hamlin and Ogden libraries. Review the books that you read, keep track of your hours and come into the library to drop off your entries for our grand prize drawing. The Library that reads the most hours gets a trophy at the end of the summer party.
June 29 Safety Pin Bracelet Craft 2 – 4 PM (registration required)
June 30 Travel Movie 3 – 4:30 PM

Summer Reading Program Closing Week

August 6 Red White and Blue Tie Dyed T-shirts 2 – 3 PM (registration required)
Please bring your own clean white t–shirt!
August 6 Last day for summer reading! Bring all your tickets and reviews in by 5 PM!
August 10 Flag Bead Craft 3 – 4 PM (registration required)
August 10 Anime Group 4 – 5 PM
August 11 Movie 3 – 4:30 PM
August 12 End of the Summer Reading Party 6 PM
The party will be held at the library that completes the most hours over the summer. There will be pizza and games for everyone, and you’ll get to meet other teens in the area! There will also be a grand prize drawing for everyone who competes at our library.
